NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd February, 2001

S.O. 154(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of

1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following

further amendment in the notification of the Government

of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs Number SO. 389(E),

dated, the 17th April, 2000, namely :—

In the said notification, after the terms of reference,

for tixe words '"The Commission shall submit its report to

the Central Government on or before the 23rd February,

2001", the following shall be substituted, namely:—

"The Commission shall submit its report to the

Central Government on or before the 15th March, 2001."

Note : The principal notification constituting the

Commission of Inquiry was published in the Gazette

of lndia vide No. SO. 389(E),dated the 17thApril,

the 21st September, 2000; S.O. 1041(E), dated, the

21st November, 2000; and S.O. 68(E), dated, the

22nd January, 2001.
