NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th February, 2001
s. o. i67(E).~ i n pursuance of clause (a) of section 2 of the Petroleum and
Minerals, Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of
1962), the Central Government vide Notification of Government of India in
the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas No.S.O. 1519 dated 1st June,
1996, appointed Shri Kalipada Shyam, Dy. Collector,
Government of
Tripura to perform the functions of the competent authority under the said
Act for laying of Pipeline by M/s Gas Authority of India Limited (GAJL) in
Tripura State;
And, whereas, the services of the said Shri Kalipada Shyam have been
repatriated to State Government of Tripura:
And, whereas, the deputation of the said Shri Kalipada Shyam with M/s Gas
Authority of India Limited has come to an end with effect from May 30,
1998;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of clause (a) of section 2 of the said Act and in
supersession of S.O.I519 dated 1st June, 1996, the Central Government
hereby authorises the person mentioned in column (1) of the Schedule given
below to perform the functions of the competent authority under the said Act
for laying Pipelines by the said M/s Gas Authority of India Limited in the
area mentioned in column (2) of the said Schedule.
