NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd November, 2001

G.S.R. 860 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Bhopal Gas Leak

Disaster (Processing of Claims) Act, 1985 (21 of 1985), the

Central Government hereby appoints Justice Shri S. B.

Sakrikar, sitting Judge of the High Court of Madhya

Pradesh to hold concurrent charge of the post of

Commissioner for the Welfare of the victims of Bhopal

Gas Leak Disaster, for a further period of one year with

effect from the 15th September, 2000. This is in continuation

of this Department's Notification No. GSR 924 (E) dated

21-12-2000.
