NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 18th December. 2001

S.O. 1224(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (3) of Section (3) of the Environment

(Protection) Act, 19X6 (29 of 1986) the Central Government

hereby makes the following amendment in the notification

of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Environment

and Forests number S. O. 884 (E) dated the 19th December

1996, namely.—

In the said notification in paragraph 1, for the words

five years", the words 'five years and three months" shall

be substituted.
