S.0.123l(E).~~in exercise of clause (a) of section 3 of the National Highways Act,

1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Sub Divisional

Officer, Dahanu, Dahanu Division, Maharastra as competent authority to perform the

functions of the such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of

publication of this notification in the Official Gazette in respect of the land required for

the stretch from km. 381.6 to km. 439.0 on National Highway No. 8 for Surat-Manor

Tollway Road Project in District Thane in the State of Maharastra as specified in the

Schedule beJow, till further orders:
