NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th December, 2001

G.S.R. 911 (E). — In exercise of powers conferred by

sub-section (1) read with sub-section (6) of Section 3 of the

Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central

Government hereby appoints Director (Design), Ministry of

Shipping on the Board of Trustees for the Port of Cochin

Vice Deputy Secretary (SD), Ministry of Shipping as a

Trustee and makes the following amendments in the

notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile

Ministry of Surface Transport (Ports Wing) G S R No. 280(E),

dated 31-3-2000 and subsequent amendment in the

Notification of the Ministry of Shipping (Ports Wing)

G.S.R.No, 113(E), dated 27th February, 2001.

2. In the said notification against the Serial No. 7 for

words "Deputy Secretary (SD), Ministry of Shipping", the

words "Director (Designs), Ministry of Shipping," shall be

substituted.
