S.O. 1261(E).—In partial modification of the Notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home

Affairs No. S.O. 433(E) dated the 17th May, 2001 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-11, Section 3, Sub-

section (ii), dated the 17thMay, 2001, extending the tenure of the Commission of Inquiry, to inquire into a definite matter of

public importance, namely, the destruction of Ram Janma Bhoomi-Babri Masjid structure at Ayodhya on the 6th December,

1992, it has been decided that the said Commission, namely, the Liberhan Ayodhya Commission of Inquiry, will submit its

report on or before the 30th June, 2002.
