G.S.R 928(E) —In the English version of the Ministry of Shipping's Notification relating to the Kandla Port Trusts

(Heads of Departments) Amendment Regulations, 2001, published in Part-I I-Section-3-Sub-section (i) of the Extraordinary

issue of the Gazette of India dated 23rd October, 2001, under G.S.R. 798(E):-

In the Schedule to the Recruitment Rules for the post of Chief Operation Manager in page 19, the following shall be

substituted under column 9 (In case of "recruitment by promotion/deputation/transfer, grades from which deputation/

transfer to be made")

"By Promotion/Transfer/Depulation : Officers holding analogous posts or with 10 years regular service in the lower

post equivalent to or above Executive Engineer (Civil)/Mechanical/Electrical/Marine Engineering (MOT 1 st Class)/Hy-

draulic Engineer or Harbour Master with 3 years experience in a major Port Trust/Government or Semi-Government

Department/Public Sector or Autonomous Body. (Period of deputation not to exceed ordinarily 3 years).
