New Delhi, the 4th January, 2002

No. 1/2002-INLANDAIR TRAVEL TAX

G.S.R. 9(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-section (2) of Section 48 of the Finance

Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Inland Air Travel Tax

Rules, 1989, namely :—

1.(1) These rules may be called the Inland Air Travel Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2002.

(2) They shall come into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.

G.S.R. 10(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Sub-section (2) of Section 40 of the Finance

Act, 1979 (21 of 19^9), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Foreign Travel Tax

Rules, 1979, namely:—

1.(1) These rules maybe called the Foreign Travel Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2002.

(2) They shall come into farce on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette

2. In rule 4 of the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979, for the words "thirty days", the words "fifteen days¹' shall be

substituted.
