NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th January, 2002

G.S.R 38(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by

sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act,

1963 (38 of 1963) read with sub-section (6) of the said section,

the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Surendra

Motilal Patel as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of

Kandla Port Trust upto 31-3-2002 and makes the following

amendments in the notification of the Government of India

in the erstwhile Ministry of Surface Transport (Ports Wing)

G.S.R. No. 489(E) dated 24th May, 2000.

2. In the said notification, Serial No. 16 and the

entry relating thereto shall be substituted by the following,

namely:—

"16. Shri Surendra Motilal Patel

—Representing

'TAPAS", 42-B,

Other Interests".
