NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 18th January, 2002

G.S.R 49(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services

Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after

consultation with the Governments of the States concerned,

hereby makes the following rules further to amend the All

India Services (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Rules,

1958, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the All India Services

(Dcath-cum-Retirement Benefits) Amendment Rules, 2002.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their

publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the All India Services (Death-cum-Rctirement

Benefits) Rules, 1958, in rule 5A, sub-rule (2) shall be

omitted.
