ORDER

New Delhi, the 25th January, 2002

S.0.108(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Environment (Protection)

Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government

of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O.93(E) dated the 29th January, 1998, namely :-

In the said notification, in paragraph 1,—

(i) for the words "for a period of four years" the words "for a period of five years" shall be substituted;

(ii) at serial number (1) for the words " Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, Jaisalmer House, Mansingh

Road, New Delhi" the words "Chairman, Food Corporation of India, Khadya Sadan, 16-20 Barakhamba Lane,

NewDelhi-110001" shall be substituted;

(ni) at serial number (2) for the words "Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Transport Department, Government of the

National Capital Territory of Delhi, Delhi" the words "Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of

India, New Delhi-110011" shall be substituted;

(rv) for serial number (3) and the entries relating thereto, tlie following shall be substituted, namely :—

"(3) Ms. Sunita Narain, Director, Centre for Science and Environment, 41, Tughlakabad Institutional Area,

(Near BatraHospital), New Delhi-110062—Member.";

(v) at serial number (4) for the words "Executive Director (Marketing & Sales)" the words "Managing Director "

shall be substituted.
