NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th January, 2002

S. O. 124(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (a) of Section 3 of National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of

1956) and in supersession of notification of the Government

o/lndia in the erstwhile Ministry of Surface Transport No.

SO 751(E)dat£d6thAugust,2001 in so far as it relates to the

District of Chittorgarh, except as respects tilings done or

omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central

Government, hereby authorises the Additional District

Magistrate (Land Acquisition), District Bhilwara, Bhilwara

(Rajasthan) as the competent authority to perform the func-

tions of such authority under the said Act with effect from

the date of publication of this notification in the Official

Gazette in respect of the land ofstretchfromKm 120.00 to

Kin 152.00ofChittorgarh-BhilwaraSectionof National High-

way -79 (Km 0 at Ajmer) in the State of Rajasthan as speci-

fird in the Schedule below, till further orders.
