S.0.156(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of clause (a) sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Border Security Force
Act, 1968 (47 of 1968), the Central Government hereby declares the duty of every person referred to in the said clause (a)
serving in the States/Union Territories mentioned below for the period with effect from the 1 st January, 2002 to 30th June,
2004 as active duty, namely:—
