NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th February, 2002

S.0.157(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) read with sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the

Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995), and in supersession of Notification No. SO. 82(E) dated 29th

January, 2001 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 29th January, 2001

the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) hereby makes the following amendments in its Notification

No. SO. 823<E) dated 13lh September, 2000 published in (he Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part U, Section 3

Sub-section (ii) dated the 13th September, 2000 :—

1 Clause (c) of sub-para (i) of para 1 of the above said Notification dated 13th September, 2000 shall be substituted

by the following, namely :—

"(c) regional language channel of the State/Union Territory in which the cable operator is located or the DD

Bharati Channel as specified in the Schedule."

2. In the Schedule attached to the above said Notification, the following shall be added after entry 22 :—
