CORRIGENDUM

New Delhi, the 22nd March. 2002

G.S.R 222(E).—In the schedule annexed to the

Government of India, Ministry of Shipping's Notification

GSR No 246(E), dated 4th April, 2001 following may be

incorporated below Regulation

relating to Short Title

and Commencement

"Explanatory Note

(I)

The pay scales of employees have been

revised retrospectively from January, 1997

Hence, the pay limits for classification of posts

etc need to be revised retrospectively from

1st January, 1997

(ii)

No one would be adversely affected by

the retrospective application of these

amendments "
