NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 12th July, 2002

O.N. 81(E).—In pursuance of sub-section (1) of

Section 3 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections

Act, 1952 (31 of 1952) the Election Commission of India

hereby directs thai the following amendments shall be made

in its Notification No. 479/3/2002(111) dated 7th June, 2002:

In the Table appended to the said Notification—

(i) Against SI. No. 6. Goa, for the existing entry "2.

Joint Secretary, Goa Legislative Assembly,

Assembly Complex, Porvorim-Goa " the entry "2

Under Secretary, Goa Legislative Assembly,

Assembly Coniplex, Porvorim-Goa." And

(ii) Against SI. No 17 Meghalaya, for the existing

entry 2. Deputy Secretary, Moghalaya Legislative

Assembly, ShilIong-793001" the entry "2 Joint

Secretary, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly,

Shillong-793001 shall be substituted.
