NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th July, 2002

(INCOME-TAX)

S.O. 750(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-section (2) of Section 120 of the Income-tax Act, 1961

(43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby

authorises the Chief Commissioner of Income-tax-XIII,

Mumbai to issue orders, in writing, for exercise of powers

and performance of functions under the Income-tax Act,

1961, concurrently by all or any of the Assessing Officers

as defined under section 2(7A) of the Income-tax Act,

subordinate to him.

2. This notification shall come into force on the

1st day or August, 2002.
