NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 14th August, 2002

G.S.R 565(E):—In exdrcise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 641 of the Companies Act,

1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments jn Schedule XIII to the said Act,

namely —

1 In the said Schedule, in Part TI, in section 11, in paragraph 1, after clause (C), the following clause shall be inserted,

r namely —

"(D) not exceeding Rs. 2,40,00,000 per annum or Rs 20,00,000 per month in respect of companies in Special

Economic Zones as notified by Department of Commerce from time to time .

Provided that these companies have not raised any money by public issue of shares or debentures in India :

Provided further that such companies have not made any default in India in repayment of any of its debts

(including public deposits) or debentures or interest payable thereon for a continuous period of thirty days

in any financial year "

2 It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
