S.O. 886(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred

by Sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Conservation of

Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities

Act, 1974 (52 of 1974), the Central Government hereby

specially empowers Shri P C. Jha, Joint Secretary to the

Government of India, for the purpose of the said section.
