NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th August, 2002

G.S.R. 586(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (i) of Section 124, read with Sub-section (i)

/of Section 132 of the Major Port Trust Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the Madras Port

Trust Employees (Reimbursement of Tuition Fees) Amendment Regulation, 2002 made by the Board of trustees of Port of

the Madras as set out in the schedule annexed to this Notification

2 The said regulations shall come in force on the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette.

MADRAS PORT TRUST EMPLOYEES' (REIMBURSEMENT OF TUITION FEES)

(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38of 1963), the Madras

Port Trust Board hereby makes the following Amendment Regulations

1 Short title : These Regulations may be called the Madras Port Trust Employee's (Reimbursement of Tuition

Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2002

2 These Regulations shall come into force from the date of publ icalion in the Official Gazette.

3 In the Madras Port Trust Employees' (Reimbursement of Tuition Fees) Regulations, 1993 the existing Regulation

5(ii) shall be substituted as under

"The tuition fee payable and actually paid by an employee in respect of his/her child may be reimbursed for the

under mentioned courses of study or its equivalent classes subject to the limits indicated against each •

(a) Standards I to X

Rs 40/- per month per child.

(b) Standards XI to XJI

Rs. 50/-per month per child

Rs. 100/- per month per child

handicapped and mentally retarded children

Note :—'Suenccfec' ofRs 10/-pm. If charged separately, for classes IX to XII Standards will be reimbursable in

addition to the tuition fees."
