NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th August, 2002

S.O.904(E).—In Pursuance of Clause (a) of Section

10 of the Unit Trust of India Act, 1963 (52 of 1963), the

Central Government hereby extends, in consultation with

Industrial Development Bank of India, the tenure of Shri

M. Damodaran, IAS (MT: 71) as Chairman of the Unit Trust

of India in the pay scale of Rs. 26000/- (fixed) per month

for a period of one year with effect from 15-7-2002 or until

further orders, whichever is earlier, by giving special

exemption from the usual rule of Central deputation.
