j n exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of National Highways Act. 1956 (48

of 1956) and in supersession of the notification of the Government nf India in <he Ministry of R.oad Transport and

Highways .vide No.S.O.H52 (E) dated 23.12.2000 in so far as it relates lo the land of stretch from Km. 136.500 to

Km. 199.141 of National Highway Number - 5 and Km.0.000 lo Km.53.410 of National Highway Number - 60

covering the Tahasils mentioned in Schedule thereto, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such

supersession, the Central Government hereby authorizes the following Officers of Orissa

Stale Government as

Competent Authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act in respect of the land stretch from

Km. 136.500 to Kin. 199.141 of National Highway Number - 5 and Km.0.000 to Km.53.410 of National Highway

Number - 60 in the State of Orissa as specified in (he Schedule A and B below, till further orders.
