ir, c-xr-rcise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Bureau of

Indian Standards Act, 1986 (63 of 1986) read with rule 3 and sub-rale (1) of rule 4 of

the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 1987, the Central Government hereby re-

constitutes the B"=v»*•< of fndian Standards consisting of the following members, with

effect from the c, -.•-. • f publication of this notification, and for that purpose makes the

further following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the

erstwhile MiniMiy of Food and Civil Supplies (Department of Civil Supplies)

number S.O. 278fii dated, the 31^st March, 1987, namely :-

In the said notifies Oon,-

(i)

for the words " Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution", wherever they

occur, the words "Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution" shall be

substituted;

(ii)

for serial numbers 5 to 106 (both inclusive) and the entries relating thereto,

the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely :-
