NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 20th November, 2009

S.O. 2982(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section

2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of

Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962) the Central

Government hereby authorizes the authority mentioned in

column (1) of the Table given below to perform the functions

of the Competent Authority under the said Act for

expansion of pipelines by Oil India Limited, Numaligarh to

Siliguri in respect of the areas specified in column (2) of the

Schedule namely :—
