NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 25th November, 2009

S.O. 3015(E).—In exercise of the power conferred

by Sub-section (I) of Section 15 of the Forward Contracts ,

(Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), the Central Government,

in tho public interest and in the interest of trade, hereby

declares that the provisions of the said Section shall apply

to "(a) Melted Menthol Flakes, (b) Menthe Oil and

(c) Menthol Crystals" in the whole of the territories to

which the said Act extends; and in exercise of the powers

conferred by clause (a) of Section 16 of the said Act, fixes

the rate prevailing at the time at which the fonvardmancets

in the said good'closed on the date of this notification as

the rate at which any such forward contracts entered into

on or before the said date and remaining to be performer;

after the said date shall be deemed to be closed.
