NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th December, 2009
S.O. 3194(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National Highways Act, 1956
(48 of 1956), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport
and Highways (Department of Road Transport and Highways) number S.O. 1703(E), dated 4th October, 2006, except as
respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby authorises the
Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Uttar Dinajpur District, West Bengal as the Competent Authority to
perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the
Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from km.398.000 to km. 452.700 of the National Highway No.34 for building
(Widening/four-laning, bypasses, etc.), maintenance, management and operation of the said National Highway in the State
of West Bengal, as specified in the Schedule given below :—
