NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th December, 2009

S.O. 3231(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of Section 3 of the National I lighways Act, 1956

(48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorises the Manager (Tech). Davanitere, under NI IAI, PIO, Chitradurga, as

the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of

publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in respect of the stretch of land from km 75.000 to km 189.000 (existing)

of the National highway No. 4 for building (widening/six-laning, ctc.), maintenance, management and operation in the State

of Karnataka as specified in the Schedule given below.
