NOTIFICAIION
New Delhi the 15th December, 2009
S.O. 240(E).— Whereas by notification of Government of India in Ministr y of Petroleum and Natural Gas,
number S.() I 90(E), dated 12th June, 2009, issued under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Petroleum and Minerals
Pipelines(-Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1902) (hereinafter relerrod to as the said Act), Government
of India declared its intention to acquire the Right of User in the land. specified in the Schedule appended to that
notification
Cos Me purpose of laying pipeline for transportation of natural has trom structures in Andhra Pradesh of
Mls Reliance I cdustries Limited, by Ws Reliance Gas Fransportation Infrastructure limited to the consumers in various -
in parts or the country;
And, e hereas, the copies of the said Gazette notification were made available to the public on or before
19th Oc tobcr. 2009;
And. whereas, no objections were received from the public to the laying of the pipeline:
And. s. hcreas, the Competent Authority has under sub-section (I) of Section 0 of said Act. submitted report to the
Government of India;
And, whereas, Government of India, after considering the said report and on being satisfied that the said land is
Required fix laying the pipeline, has decided to acquire the Right of 1.1set therein,
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred be sub-section (I) of Section 6 of the said Act, Government of
India hereb y. declares that the Right of User in the land, specified in the Schedule. appended to this notification, is
hereby acquired for laying the pipeline;

And further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 6 of the said Act, Government of
India hereby directs that the Right of User in the said land for laying the pipeline shall, instead of vesting in Government
of India vest on the date of publication of the declaration, in M/s Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Limited, free
from all encumbrances.
