NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th December, 2009

S.O. 95(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 4 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958)

read with Rule 4 of the National Shipping Board Rules, 1960

and in modification of this Ministry's Notification No. S.O.

224(E), dated 20-1-2009, the Central Government hereby

notifies the names of the following four Members of

Parliament from the Lok Sabha as members of the National

Shipping Board for a period up to 31-8-2010 or till they

continue to be a Member of Parliament, whichever is

earlier :-

Shri Anant Gangaram Geete. Member of

Parliament (Lok Sabha)

Shri Somendra Nath Mitra, Member of Parliament

(Lok Sabha)

Capt. Jai Narain Prasad Nishad, Member of

Parliament (Lok Sabha)

Shri Hamdulla Sayeed, Member of Parliament (Lok

Sabha).
