NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd February, 2010
S.O. 249(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred
by Section 3 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 1986
(63 of 1986) read with rule 3 and sub-rule (1) of rule 4
of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 1987, the
Central Government, in continuation of this Department's
Notifications published in the Official Gazette vide
No. S.O. 529(E) dated 20th February, 2009 and No. S.O. 2470(E)
dated 29th September, 2009 hereby appoints Shri Sharad
Anantrao Joshi, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha),
12-A, Meena Bagh, New Delhi, as member on the Bureau
of Indian Standards to represent interest of Farmers/
Farmers' Associations, for a period of two years with effect
from the date of publication of this notification.
