CORRIGENDUM

New Delhi, the 2nd November, 2010

G.S.R. 878(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the All India Services

Act, 195 1 (LXI of 1951) read with sub-rules (1) and (2) of

Rule 4 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the

Central Government, in consultation with the Government

of Bihar hereby makes the following regulations further to

amend the Indian Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength)

Regulations, 1955, namely :-

(1) These regulations may be called the Indian

Police Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Twenty fourth

Amendment Regulations, 2010.

(2) Save as otherwise provided in these regulations,

they shall come into force on the date of their publication

in the Official Gazette.

In the Schedule to the Indian Police Service

(Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, under the

heading "Bihar" for the entries occurring there under, the

following shall be substituted namely :-

Addl. Director General of Police - K.S.R.P

Addl. Director General of Police - Intelligence

Addl. Director General of Police - Law & Order

and Operation

Addl. Director General of Police - cum-Director

Bihar Police Academy

[Foot Note: These regulations have been made

effective from 30th March, 2010, as amendments are to be

made effective from the date of publication of the original

notification i.e. 30th March, 2010].

Police Service (Pay) Rules, 1954, the Central Government,

in consultation with the Government of Bihar hereby makes

the following Rules further to amend the Indian Police

Service (Pay) Rules, 2007, namely:-

(1) These rules may be called the Indian Police

Service (Pay) Twenty-Sixth Amendment Rules, 2010.

(2) Save as otherwise provided in these rules, they

shall come into force on the date of their publication in the

Official Gazette.

In "Schedule II-A-Posts carrying pay in the

Senior Scale of the Indian Police Service under the State

Government (including posts carrying Special Pay in

addition to pay in time scale)" in the Table, for the entry

"Bihar" occurring in the first column and the corresponding

entries in the second column, the following shall be

substituted:
