NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 18th November, 2010
S.O. 2799(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred
by the proviso to rule 54 of the Narcotic Drugs and
Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985, the Central
Government hereby notifies the following manufacturers
to import morphine. codeine, thebaine and their salts for
use in manufacture of products to be exported or for
importing small quantities of morphine, codeine and
thebaine and their salts not exceeding a total of I kilogram

by sub-rule (1) of rule 67D and sub-rule (1) of rule 67E of
the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
Rules, 1985, the Central Government hereby appoints
Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau to exercise
powers specified in rule 67D and sub-rule (1) of rule 67E
of the said rules.
