धारा 27, धारा 41, धारा 50 और धारा 110, =वारा 9द>त शि@तय6 का 9योग करते हुए बनाने का

9Bताव करती है, उ@त अध'नयम क; धारा 212 क; उप-धारा (1) क; अपेGानुसार उन सभी

Iयि@तय6 क; जानकार के 3लए िजनके उससे 9भाJवत होने क; संभावना है, 9का3शत Kकया जाता है

और यह सूचना द जाती है Kक उ@त 9ा:प 'नयम6 को उस तारख से, िजसको भारत के उस राजप

िजसमL यह अधसूचना 9का3शत क; गई थी, क; 9'तयां जनता को उपलNध करा द जाती हO, तीस

दन क; अवध क; समािPत के पQचात् Jवचार Kकया जाएगा;

2. के-.य सरकार =वारा उ@त 9ा:प 'नयम6 क; बाबत, ऐसे Kक-ह आGेप6 और सुझाव6 पर,

जो Kकसी Iयि@त से पूवV@त अवध क; समािPत से पूव 9ाPत ह6, Jवचार Kकया जाएगा;

3. आGेप6 या सुझाव6, यद कोई ह6, संयु@त सचव (परवहन), सड़क परवहन और राजमाग

मंालय, परवहन भवन, संसद माग , नई दल-110001 को भेजे जा सकL गे;

1.

(1) इन 'नयम6 का संYGPत नाम के-.य मोटर यान (संशोधन) 'नयम, 2013 है।

(2) ये 'नयम 1 अ@ तूबर, 2014 से 9वृ>त ह6गे ।

के-.य मोटर यान 'नयम, 1989 (िजसे इसमL इसके पQ चात् उ@ त 'नयम कहा गया

है) के 'नयम 96 के उप-'नयम (9) मL, —

(क) खंड (i) मL "और एन 3" अ3भI यि@ त का लोप Kकया जाएगा;

(ख) खंड (ii), खंड (iii) और खंड (iv) के B थान पर 'न न3ल7खत खंड रखा जाएगा, अथा त्: —

"(ii) 1 अ@ तूबर, 2014 को और उसके पQ चात् Jव'न3म त यान6 के एम3 और एन3 9वग "

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 28th November, 2013

G.S.R.755(E).--The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989,

which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 110 of Motor

Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of Section 212 of the said Act for

information of all persons likely to be affected thereby; and notice is hereby given that the said draft rules shall be

taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date on which the copies of this

notification as published in the Gazette of India, are made available to the public.

2.

Any objections or suggestions which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft

rules before the expiry of the aforesaid period shall be considered by the Central Government.

3.

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be sent to the Joint Secretary (Transport), Ministry of Road

Transport and Highways, Transport Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110 001.

DRAFT RULES

1.

(1) These rules may be called as the Central Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2013.

(2) They shall come into force on the 1st October, 2014.

2. In the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 (hereinafter referred as the said rules), in rule 96, in sub-rule (9) ,—

(a)

in clause (i), the expression “and N3” shall be omitted ;

(b)

for clauses (ii), (iii) and (iv), the following clause shall be substituted, namely :—

“(ii) M3 and N3 categories of vehicles manufactured on and after the 1st October, 2014.’’.
