6न(नHलIखत संशोधन करता है, vFkkZr~ :—

1. संLMNत नाम और +ारंभ

(i) ये व6नयम वदेशी मुा +बंध (भारत म ,कसी शाखा अथवा कायालय अथवा कारोबार क0 अ1य जगह 4थापत करना)

(संशोधन) व6नयमावल, 2013 कहलाएंगे।

(ii) इनके संबंध म यह समझा जाएगा ,क वे सरकार राजपS म उनके +काशन क0 तारख से लागू हुए

2. व6नयमावल म संशोधन

वदेशी मुा +बंध (भारत म ,कसी शाखा अथवा कायालय अथवा कारोबार क0 अ1य जगह 4थापत करना)

व6नयमावल, 2000 (3 मई, 2000 क0 अधसूचना सं. फेमा. 22/2000-आरबी) म जो इसके बाद मूल व6नयमावल

के Tप म उिUलIखत है, के व6नयम 4 म, "ईरान अथवा चीन" शWदC के Hलए "ईरान, चीन, हांगकांग अथवा मकाऊ"

शWद +6त4थापत ,कए जाएंगे।

Foreign Exchange Management (Establishment in India of Branch or Office

or Other Place of Business) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013

G.S.R. 767(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (6) of Section 6 of the

Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (42 of 1999), the Reserve Bank makes the following

amendments to the Foreign Exchange Management (Establishment in India of Branch or Office or Other

Place of Business) Regulations 2000, Notification No. FEMA 22/2000-RB dated 3rd May, 2000,

namely: —

1. Short Title and Commencement:-

(i) These Regulations may be called the Foreign Exchange Management (Establishment in India

of Branch or Office or other Place of Business) (Amendment) Regulations, 2013.

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force from the date of their publication in the Official

Gazette

2. Amendment to the Regulations:-

In the Foreign Exchange Management (Establishment in India of Branch or Office or Other Place

of Business) Regulations, 2000 (Notification No.FEMA.22/2000-RB dated May 3, 2000), hereinafter

referred to as the 'Principal Regulations', in Regulation 4, for the words, “ Iran or China”, the words “ Iran,

China, Hong Kong or Macau” shall be substituted.
