ELECTION OF TWO DIRECTORS
No. 3/2013-14.—Notice is hereby given that the tenure of the office of Shri K. T. Rajagopalan and
Shri T. Balakrishnan, Directors of the Bank elected u/s 25 (1) (d) of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary Banks) Act, 1959,
will expire on 31st January, 2014. It has, therefore, become necessary to fill up the said vacancies for a period of three years.
Accordingly, for the election of two Directors, nominations are invited from the shareholders who are fit and
having proper status as prescribed under section 25 A and not disqualified u/s 27 ibid. Such nominations, complete in all
respects, must reach the Bank at its Head Office, Poojapura, Thiruvananthapuram - 695012, on or before the 15th January,
2014, 5 P.M. Nominations received after this date and time will not be accepted.
For the purpose of election of two Directors as above, a General Meeting of the shareholders of the State Bank
of Travancore will be held at A.K.G. Memorial Hall, Gas House Junction, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram – 695034, on
Friday, the 31st January, 2014 at 11 A.M. (IST).

Note : In the event of receipt of only two valid nominations for the above two vacancies, the candidates validly nominated
for such vacancies shall be deemed to be elected and there shall not be any election and the above General Meeting
called for this purpose shall stand cancelled in terms of Regulation 33 (1) of the State Bank of India (Subsidiary
Banks) General Regulations, 1959. The names and addresses of the candidates so elected will be published in
leading newspapers before the date fixed for General Meeting.
