S.O. 3644(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (2) (c) of Section 3, read with sub-section (4) of

Section 4, of the National Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993 (27 of 1993), the Central Government hereby

appoints Shri S. K. Kharventhan as Member of National Commission for Backward Classes, against an existing vacancy

for a term of three years with effect from the date he assumes office.
