RESOLUTION

New Delhi, the 27th November, 2013

No. 8/8/2007-PL.—In continuation of this Ministry’s

Resolutions of even number dated 22nd December, 2011,

21st November, 2012, 10th May, 2013, 30th September, 2013,

23rd October, 2013, 30th October, 2013 and 18th November,

2013 the following person has been appointed as Non-

Official Member of the ‘All India Powerloom Board’ with

immediate effect :—

1.

Shri Merugumala Venkateswara Rao,

Eluru Road

Gudivada-521301

Krishna District

Andhra Pradesh

2. The term of the office of the above member will be

concurrent with the term of the Board, i.e., two years from

22-12-2011.

3. The Board advises the Government on matters

concerning the development of powerloom sector

including measures to be taken to achieve better

productivity, increase efficiency and welfare of

workers, etc.

4. This issues with the approval of the Hon’ble

Minister of Textiles.
