2. The following duties are assigned to the aforesaid Committee :—
(a)
the preparation and to the Central Government as far as possible before the commencement of each
financial year, of statements, showing programmes of work agreed to be undertaken by the Institute
during that year for which the Central Government may provide funds, as well as general financial
estimates in respect of such work and
(b)
the settlement on broad lines of the programmes of such work.
3. Secretarial assistance to the Committee shall be rendered by ISI and the headquarters of the Committee will be
at New Delhi.
4. The Committee shall submit its minutes to the Central Government in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation as and when the Committee meets. The Committee shall submit a Report on the above mandate as and when
finalised.
