New Delhi, the 27th December, 2013

F. No. 9/1/2013-SS.—In pursuance of sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Readjustment of Representation of

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies (Third) Ordinance, 2013 (10 of

2013), the Census Commissioner hereby notifies the population figures mentioned in columns (3), (4) and (5) of the Table

below [as ascertained and determined under sub-section (2) of the Section 3] as the population figures respectively of the

total population, the population of the Scheduled Castes and the population of the Scheduled Tribes at the Census held in

India in 2001 in the States/UTs of Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Haryana,

Jammu & Kashmir, Puducherry and Punjab and the proportion of the population of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled

Tribes respectively to the total population of those States/UTs as mentioned in columns (6) and (7) thereof.
