New Delhi, the 7th January, 2014

S.O. 208(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by Section 53 of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 (10 of

1949), the Central Government on the recommendations of

Reserve Bank of India, hereby declares that the provisions

of Section 10 (1) (c) (i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949

shall not apply to Shri Shyam Srinivasan, Managing

Director & Chief Executive Officer, the Federal Bank Limited

in so far as they relate to his nomination to the Board of

IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co. Limited (IFLIC).
