तारख 1 जुलाई, 2013 का िनर*ण महाूबंधक (भूिम/राजः व और पुनवा(स), महानद कोलफ+Hडस

िलिमटेड, जागृित Kवहार, बुला(, &जला सLबलपुर-768020 (ओड़शा) के काया(लय म$ या कल=टर और

&जला मै&जःशेट, &जला अंगुल (ओड़शा) के काया(लय म$ या कोयला िनयंऽक, 1, काउंिसल हाउस

अतः अब, केिय सरकार कोयला धारक *ेऽ (अज(न और Kवकास) अिधिनयम, 1957

पूव]*ण करने के अपने आशय क+ सूचना देती है;

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd January, 2014

S.O. 239(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that coal is likely to be obtained from the land in

the locality described in the Schedule annexed hereto;

And

Whereas,

the

plan

bearing

number

MCL/SAMB/GM(CP&P)/Gopalprasad

(Balram

Expansion)/2013/01, dated the 1^st July, 2013 containing the area of land described in the said Schedule may be inspected

at the office of the General Manager, (L/R&R), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Jagruti Vihar; Burla, Sambalpur-768020

(Odisha) or at Office of the Collector and the District Magistrate, District Angul, (Odisha) or at Office of the Coal

Controller, 1, Council House Street, Kolkata;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas

(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to

prospect for coal in the land described in the aforesaid Schedule;

Any persons interested in the land described in the aforesaid Schedules may –

(i)

claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be caused by any action

taken under sub-section (3) of section 4 of the said Act; or

(ii)

claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act in respect of prospecting license ceasing

to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the said Act for mining lease ceasing to have effect and

deliver all maps, charts and other documents relating to the aforesaid land to show the expenditure incurred in

respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act,
