NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st January, 2014
S.O. 303 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), the Central Government hereby makes the following
amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.O. 3297, dated the 30th
October, 2012, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 3rd November, 2012,
namely: —

In the said notification, in the Schedule,—
(i)
against serial number 1 relating to Nakeipasi village, —
(a) under column heading “Classification of land (acres)”, under sub-headings “Forest”, “Government Non-
Forest” and “Tenancy”, for the entries “16.64”, “124.47” and “354.63”, the entries “16.54”, “124.20” and
“351.84” shall respectively be substituted;
(b) under the column heading “Area in acres”, for the entry “495.74”, the entry “492.58” shall be substituted;
( ii )
under column heading “Classification of land (acres)”, under sub-headings “Forest”, “Government Non-
Forest” and “Tenancy”, at the bottom, for the entries “169.34”, “394.21” and “919.163”, the entries “169.24”, “393.94”
and “916.373” shall respectively be substituted;
( iii )
under column heading “Area in acres”, at the bottom, for the entry “1482.713”, the entry “1479.533” shall be
substituted;
(iv)
for the entries “Total: 1482.713 acres (approximately)
or 600.045 hectares (approximately)”,
the entries
“Total: 1479.533 acres (approximately)
or 598.766 hectares approximately)”,
shall be substituted;
(v)
under heading “Plot numbers to be acquired in village – Nakeipasi”,Ñ
(a) for the entries “1229 to 2440”, the entries “1229 to 2314, 2327 to 2330, 2332 to 2440” shall be
substituted;

(b) the entries “ 2321/2840” shall be omitted;
(vi)
under heading “ BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION”, for sub-heading “ I-J-K-L” and the entries relating thereto,
the following shall be substituted, namely”: —
“I-J-K- K1-L: The line IJ passes along the southern boundary of village Nakeipasi and meets at point “j” i.e. tri-
junction point of villages Nakeipasi, Damol and Danara. The line JK passes along the common boundary of Nekeipasi
and Damol up to point “K” i.e. east-southern point of plot number 2331 of village Nakeipasi. The line KK1 passes
along the acquired boundary of Gopalprasad Block passing through the plot boundary of plots number 2331, 2326,
2327, 2323, 2316, 2315 of village Nakeipasi and meets at point K1 i.e. north-east point of plot number 2315 meeting
with village boundary of village Prasannagar. Then line K1L passes along the common boundary of village Nakeipasi
and Prasannagar and meets at point “L” i.e. tri-junction of villages Nakeipasi, Sarang and Prasannagar”.
