धारा (2) के खंड (ञ) के साथ पठत उप-धारा (1) ारा द त शि य का योग करते !ए िविधक माप
िवान (पैकज म रखी व$ तुएं) िनयम, 2011 का और संशोधन करने के िलए िन निलिखत िनयम बनाती
है, अथा(त् :—
1. (1) इन िनयम का संि+, त नाम िविधक माप िवान (पैकज म रखी व$ तुएं) (दूसरा)
(संशोधन) िनयम, 2014 है।
(2) ये राजप. म काशन क तारीख को वृ त ह गे।
2. िविधक माप िवान (पैकज म रखी व$ तुएं) िनयम, 2011 के िनयम 26 म , खंड (घ) के
प3 चात्, िन निलिखत खंड अंत:$ थािपत कया जाएगा, अथा(त्:—
''(ड.) कोई सूत जो हथकरघा बुनकर को कु डिल य म िबत कया जाता है ।''।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 4th December, 2014
G.S.R. 870(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (j)
of sub-section (2) of Section 52 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central
Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Legal Metrology (Packaged
Commodities) Rules, 2011, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called as the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Second)
(Amendment) Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in Official Gazette.
2. In the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 in rule 26, after clause (d),
the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—
“(e) any thread which is sold in coil to handloom weavers.”.
