NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th December, 2014

S.O. 3067(E).—In exercise of the powers

conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (1) of Section 2

of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37

of 1967), and in supersession of the notification of the

Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs,

number S.O. 2760(E), dated the 13th September, 2013,

published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II,

Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated 13th September, 2013,

except with regard to things done or omitted to be done

before such supersession, the Central Government

hereby specifies Shri M. A. Ganapathy, Joint Secretary

(IS-I) in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of

India, as the Designated Authority for the purposes of

the said Act.
