New Delhi, the 5th December, 2014
S.O. 3079(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of Section 5 read with sub-section (4) of
Section 6, of the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh Act, 1966 (51 of 1966), the
Central Government hereby nominates, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda , Minister of Health & Family Welfare to be a Member

of the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh in place of Dr. Harsh Vardhan and makes
the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare No. V-17011/2/2014-ME-II, dated 29th October, 2014 namely:—
In the said notification for the serial number 7 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and
entries shall be substituted, namely:—
“7. Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi”.

the Government of India in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health), dated 29th October, 2014,
the Central Government hereby nominates Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, Minister of Health & Family Welfare, a Member of
the Post- Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh to be the President of the said Institute.
