NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 10th December, 2014

S.O. 3114(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Destructive

Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to

amend the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003, namely:—

1. Short title and Commencement.—(1) This Order may be called the Plant Quarantine

(Regulation of Import into India) (Sixth Amendment) Order, 2014.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of import into India) Order, 2003 in Schedule II after serial

number 63 and the entries relating thereto the following serial number and entries shall be added

in the respective columns:—

3. Amendment of Schedule VI.- In the Schedule VI to the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import

into India) Order, 2003,—

column (3) the existing entries shall be numbered as item (i) and (ii) thereof and after item

(ii) as so re-numbered and the entries relating thereto in columns (3), (4), (5) and (6), the

following item and entries shall respectively be inserted, namely :—
