धारा 10 के खंड (46) ारा द त शि तय का
योग करते ए, के सरकार एत!ारा उ त खंड के योजनाथ% कना%टक सरकार ारा ग'ठत आयोग 'कना%टक इलेि+िसटी
रेगुलेटरी कमीशन' को उ त आयोग को होने वाली िन
निलिखत िविन/द0 ट आय के संबंध म3 अिधसूिचत करती है, अथा%त:-
(क) कना%टक सरकार से अनुदान और ऋण के 9प म3 ा; त रािश;
(ख) सांिविधक शु क;
(ग) िनवेश से अ<जत = याज।
2.
यह अिधसूचना िव त वष% 2014-15 से 2018-19 तक लागू होगी।
3.
यह अिधसूचना िन
निलिखत शतA के अधीन होगी क कना%टक इलेि+िसटी रेगुलेटरी कमीशन:
(क) कसी वािणिBयक गितिविध म3 शािमल नहC होगी;
(ख) इसक
गितिविधयां और िविन/द0 ट आय क
कृित पूरे िव त वष% म3 अप'रव<तत रहती है; और
(ग) यह उ त अिधिनयम क
धारा 139 क
उप-धारा (4ग) के खंड (छ) के उपबंध के अनुसार आय क
िववरणी
दािखल करती है।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th December, 2014
S.O. 3172(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (46) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act,
1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies for the purposes of the said clause, “Karnataka
Electricity Regulatory Commission, a Commission constituted by the Government of Karnataka in respect of
the following specified income arising to that Commission, namely:—
(a) amount received in the form of grants and loans from the Government of Karnataka;
(b) statutory fees;
(c) interest earned from investment
2. This notification shall be applicable for the financial years 2014-2015 to 2018-2019.
3. The notification shall be subject to the conditions that Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission:—
(a) shall not engage in any commercial activity;
(b) its activities and the nature of the specified income remain unchanged throughout the financial year;
and
(c) it files return of income in accordance with the provision of clause (g) of sub-section (4C) Section 139
of the said Act.
