3264(अ).— कीय सरकार, पयावरण (संरण) अिधिनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) क धारा 3 क

उप-धारा (3) ारा द शिय का योग करते ए और भारत सरकार के त$ कालीन पयावरण और वन मं'ालय क

अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 1533(अ) तारीख 14 िसतंबर, 2006 के अनुसरण म भारत सरकार के त$ कालीन पयावरण और वन

मं'ालय क भारत के राजप', असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) म कािशत अिधसूचना सं. का.आ. 1196(अ) तारीख

2 मई, 2014 म िन. निलिखत और संशोधन करती है, अथात् :—

उ2 त अिधसूचना म,-—

(i) पैरा 1 म 3म सं. 1 और उससे संबंिधत िवि5 टय के 7 थान पर िन. निलिखत 3म सं. और िवि5 टयां रखी

जाएंगी, अथात् :—

"1 9ी सी.एल. मीना, आईएएस (सेवािनवृ$ त) –

अ; य, गुजरात िसिवल सेवा अिधकरण,

"अ; य"

(ii) पैरा 2 म िन. निलिखत उपबंध अंत:7 थािपत
कया जाएगा, अथात् :—

"परंतु यह
क अ; य या सद7 य के पद क =रि2 त उ$ प> न होने पर, कीय सरकार उ$ तरवत? क िनयुि2 त करेगी, जो

ऐसे अ; य या सद7 य, िजसके 7 थान पर उसक िनयुि2 त क गई है, क शेष पदाविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा" ;

(iii) पैरा 6 म िन. निलिखत उपबंध अंत:7 थािपत
कया जाएगा, अथात् :—

"परंतु यह
क अ; य या सद7 य के पद क =रि2 त उ$ प> न होने पर, कीय सरकार, संबंिधत राDय सरकार क

िसफा=रश पर, उ$ तरवत? क िनयुि2 त करेगी, जो ऐसे अ; य या सद7 य, िजसके 7 थान पर उसक िनयुि2 त क गई है, क शेष

पदाविध के िलए पद धारण करेगा" ;

MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FORESTS AND CLIMATE CHANGE

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2014

S.O. 3264(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Environment

(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of paragraph 3 of the notification of the Government of India in the

erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central

Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile

Ministry of Environment and Forests published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number

S.O. 1196(E), dated the 2nd May, 2014, namely:—

In the said notification—

(i) in paragraph 1, for the serial number 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and

entries shall be substituted, namely :—

“ 1 Shri C L Meena, IAS (Retired)-

Chairman, Gujarat Civil Services Tribunal,

“Chairman”

(ii) in paragraph 2, the following provision shall be inserted, namely:—

“Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the Office of the Chairman or the Member, the Central Government shall appoint a

successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the term of such Chairman or Member in whose place he was so

appointed”;

(iii) in paragraph 6, the following provision shall be inserted, namely:—

“Provided that if a vacancy occurs in the office of the Chairman or any Member, the Central Government shall, on the

recommendation of the State Government concerned, appoint a successor who shall hold office for the remainder of the

term of such Chairman or Member in whose place he was so appointed”
