54(अ).—के ीय सरकार, पयावरण (संरण) अिध िन यम, 1986 (1986 का 29) क धारा 6

और धारा 25 ारा द त शि त य का योग करते !ए, पयावरण (संरण) िन यम, 1986 का और संशोधन करने

के िल ए िन # निल िख त िन यम बनाती है, अथात् :-

1. (1) इन िन यम का संि ) त नाम पयावरण (संरण) संशोधन िन यम, 2015 है।

(2) ये उनके राजप, म- काशन क तारीख को वृ त हगे ।

2. पयावरण (संरण) िन यम, 1986 क अनुसूची 1 म- 'जिन , सेट (जेनसेट) के िल ए 800 क लोवाट तक के

नए डीजल इंजन के िल ए उ सजन सीमा3' से संबंिध त 4म सं5 या 95 के अंत म- िन # निल िख त पैरा अंत:6 थािप त

क या जाएगा, अथात् :-

"भारतीय सेना के िल ए भारत इले 9ािन स िलिमटेड ारा उपा) त क ए जाने वाले 3डी टे टीकल कं9ोल

राडार के िल ए 20 डीजल जिन , के िल ए उ सजन मानक से छूट ।"

(i) उ त जेनसेट सा.का.िन . 371 (अ), तारीख 17 मई, 2002 के अनुसार 30 जून, 2013 को यथा िव Cमान

उ सजन मानक का अनुपालन कर-गे ;

सेट के इंजन और मु5 य बॉडी पर, "भारतीय सेना क 3डी टे टीकल कं9ोल राडार णाली म- केवल उपयोग के

िल ए" शK द उ कण करे ।

(iv) यह सुिन I चय करने के िल ए क िव शेष अिभ मुि त के अधीन 113.2 क लोवाट के केवल बीस जिन , सेट

का िव िन माण क या गया है और इस छूट का ऐसे या अ य योजन के िल ए कहM और दुNपयोग नहM क या जाए,

जिन , सेट के िव िन माता या संयोजक और भारत इले 9ािन स िल िम टेड, सािह बाबाद के पOर सर म- एक रिज 6 टर

रखा जाएगा ।"

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23^rd January, 2015

G.S.R. 54(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 25 of the Environment

(Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to

amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, namely:-

1. (1)

These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2015.

(2)

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, in Schedule I, in serial number 95 relating to 'Emission

Limits for new diesel engine upto 800 kW for generator set (Genset) application', the following

paragraph shall be inserted at the end, namely:

"Exemption from the Emission Norms for twenty Diesel Gensets of 113.2 kW to be procured

by Bharat Electronics Limited for 3D Tactical Control Radar for Indian Army.

The 113.2 kW diesel gensets manufactured by M/s Kirloskar Oil Engine Limited, Pune for the

purpose of their use in 3D Tactical Control Radars System for use by the Indian Army shall be

exempted from the regulations specified for new diesel engine upto 800 kW for generator set, under

this entry, subject to following conditions, namely:---

i. the said gensets would comply with emission norms as existing on 30th June 2013,

as per G.S.R. 371(E), dated 17th May, 2002;

ii. the special dispensation for the emission norms shall be only for the diesel gensets,

not exceeding twenty in number, to be used in 3D Tactical Control Radars System,

with the present design or configuration which shall be procured and used on or

before 30th June, 2015;

iii. the General Manager (Radar) and Unit Head, Bharat Electronics Limited, Sahibabad

shall ensure and maintain the serial numbers for twenty gensets and shall direct the

manufacturer of these generator sets to emboss on the engine and main body of the

gensets, the words "For the use of Army only in 3D Tactical Control Radars

System".

iv. a register shall be maintained at the premises of the manufacturer or assembler of

gensets and in the Bharat Electronics Limited, Sahibabad to ensure that only twenty

diesel gensets of 113.2 kW are manufactured under special dispensation and this

exemption shall not be misused elsewhere, for similar or other purpose."
